East End Rod & Gun Club

Mowing and weed whacking this morning at the range! Volunteers are hard at work on 5 Stand, common area, Blacksmith Building, and a wee bit of the rifle range. Plus 5 Stand is getting set up for summer events!

Another item from today's maintenance is the planting of trees as a sound barrier. This is required by our conditional use permit.

Our last attempt was overwhelmed by hungry bunnies and deer. This time, we are planting fewer but older trees, using a species that is less edible to critters. There will also be barriers, made of pallets, to help keep aggressive vegetarians at bay.
