This 3–hour class is designed to teach the student the basics in defensive close quarter hand gun encounters. 1.0 is intended to train the student to safely draw, clear, grip and present the handgun to the target within a conceal carry context. This is a live fire class and will be primarily held on the range. Students will convene in the class room for a brief safety meeting and overview of the class prior to heading out to the range.
