Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO)

A Chief Range Safety Officer is an NRA certified trainer that is appointed by the Board, and comes with very significant responsibilities. The CRSO has overall responsibility for safe firearm handling and shooting on the Range. He or she is responsible for recommending Standard Operating Procedures to determine what activities and actions are approved for our range as a whole. The CRSO is responsible for training Club members to be RSOs for our range and the CRSO schedules RSOs for Club events.

The Board of Directors encourages any adult member to consider training to become a Range Safety Officer. If interested contact the CRSO for more information. Our current CRSO is Bob Fulgham and you can email him at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

IF THERE IS A SCHEDULED EVENT on the range: Please check with the Event Rangemaster BEFORE shooting - The range may be either fully or partially closed based on the event.

IF THE BLACK FLAG is flying, that range is CLOSED!! There seems to be some confusion on the Black Flag that has been on the pistol range recently. When the black flag is up that portion of the range is closed period! Only authorized members or RSO's are to put the flag up or down. This is for the safety of the people farming in the area and any violations will be grounds for loss of membership. If the black flag is mounted on the gate the whole range is closed.
