First Shots® Instructional Shooting Clinic

 To be Held in Milton Freewater, Oregon

 

The NSSF ’s First Shots® program is sponsoring an instructional shooting clinic for new shooters at the East End Rod and Gun Club in Milton-Freewater, Oregon on March 19th 2022. The range is located on Cemetery Road, east of Milton-Freewater. The clinic will have registration at 8:30 a.m. and the clinic will run until 4:00 pm.

 

The cost of attendance is free and registration is limited. To register, contact Clinic Director Jerrod Propeck at (541) 203-0124 or events@eergunclub.com. You can sign up online at eergunclub.com/firstshots.html Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. All necessary equipment will be provided by the club, including firearms, ammunition, and eye/ear protection. This clinic will feature training in the safe handling of handguns, rifles and shotguns to help participants learn the fundamentals of shooting in a relaxing and fun-filled environment. Participants 16 and under will need to be paired with an adult. Mimimum age is 6.

NSSF's First Shots® program has helped ranges across the country introduce thousands of individuals to shooting and firearm safety. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundations and hosted by independent shooting facilities, the program provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to shooting be qualified range operators and instructors that includes firearm safety, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how and where to continue.
