Membership Information

Summary

Joining the club requires that you pay dues, sign a hold harmless agreement, and then attend an orientation session. The orientation walks you through the range rules, which are in place to put everyone on the same page when it comes to firearms safety.

Attending orientation annually is required for the first three years of your membership. The hold harmless agreement must be submitted annually. If you are not required to attend orientation, you are encouraged to review the current annual range update.

You may pay dues by one of these means:

  1. Sign up online and pay by credit card below.
  2. Send a completed application with your dues (check or money order) by US Mail. The address is on the application, which you can download at the bottom of this page; click “Join/Renew By Paper Application.” Applications are also available at the range, in an information box outside the main gate.
  3. Come to an orientation session with your dues. We have the applications and hold harmless agreements there for you to complete. Please bring your dues as cash (exact amount only, please), check, or money order. We currently don’t accept credit cards at those sessions.

To join online, you must have an account.  You will get an account when you sign up/join.  If you do not have an account, you must create one.

Contact us with your questions, or you can text/leave a voice message on the club phone at (541) 203-0124. We will get back to you as soon as a volunteer is available.

Joining as a New Member?

1.  The membership fee is for a household membership. The name on the form is the primary user, and all other household members are range users. If you are single, you are the primary user. Range users must be legally capable of handling firearms under state law.

  • a. You will receive ONE gate key per membership. The primary user is responsible for all actions of the range users and guests on the range.
  • b. All users must pay their dues and attend range orientation before the card is issued AND activated.
  • c. The primary user must be a member of the National Rifle Association. You may be either a full member or an associate member (no magazines). If you are already a member, please include your NRA number. If not, you can join through the club.

2. Read and sign the Hold Harmless Agreement. This is either a signed form or a checked box in the online version.

3. If you submit it on paper, mail it by the post office or bring it to your range orientation. A check or money order is preferred. Do not send cash by mail.

4. Register for a range orientation by selecting a date on the club calendar. We do accept walk-ins. Orientations are on the 1st and 4th Saturday, starting at 2 p.m.; they are also held on the 2nd Wednesday, at either 2 p.m. or 4 p.m., depending on the time of year (check the calendar). Please be early to sign in; late arrivals may not be included in that session at the discretion of the range safety officer in charge.  If you are paying by cash, please bring the exact amount.  Change is not available at these sessions.

5. Come to the orientation with eye and ear protection. Come at least 15 minutes early to sign the roster and pay your fees. If you are too late, you will have to attend another session. Sessions generally last about an hour and include a brief tour of the range, weather permitting. While the primary and range users must attend orientation, they do not need to attend together.

6. You will receive the gate key at orientation, but it won’t be activated until payment is confirmed and the gate access system is updated. This can take up to 2 weeks. As per club policy, you must attend orientation.

Renewing Your Membership?

1. The primary user must be an NRA member. This is a good time to renew your membership (if you are not a lifetime member). You must read and sign the Hold Harmless Agreement. Return the signed form with the application and membership fee.

2. If you submit it on paper, either mail it by the post office or bring it to your range orientation. A check or money order is preferred. Do not send cash by mail. Change is not available at orientation.
